Child-rearing and health consultations for women(關於育兒以及女性的健康商談)

These consultations cover a range of women's health subjects, such as menstruation from adolescence to the menopause, pregnancy, childbirth, and infertility. Please contact a ward office Children and Families Support Division if you wish to arrange a consultation.

A range of consultations are available covering all aspects of child-rearing, from pregnancy and infancy to adolescence, as well as consultations aimed at children themselves. Consultations are provided by public health nurses, social workers, and other staff members, and are free of charge.

During these checkups for children aged from 0 to 6 years and expectant mothers, you can receive advice on cavities and other oral health issues (including on habits such as biting and involuntary tooth grinding). Checkups are run by dentists and dental hygienists. Checkups are free of charge (prior booking required).

Once a week, child-rearing supporters are on hand at community centers etc. to help you think through your child-rearing concerns.

This child-rearing support consultation service is provided at certain nursery schools. You can receive advice on everything from discipline to your child's development.
