Delegates from Germany and the Port of Yokohama Discussed Decarbonization
On September 26, 2023, Mr. Stefan Wenzel, Parliamentary Secretary of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, who participated in the 6th Ministerial Conference on Hydrogen, visited the Port of Yokohama and met with us in the Asuka Lounge of the Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal.
In addition to Parliamentary Secretary Stefan Wenzel, 12 people from 9 organizations, including Mr. Sterner of the H2 Global Foundation, Mr. Erfgen of the Hamburg Port Authority, Mr. Jorgens of the German Maritime Center, and Mr. Oishi of the German Embassy in Japan, visited the Port of Yokohama. We exchanged opinions on the trends in hydrogen, ammonia, and other next-generation energies, the state of development of legal systems and issues, and the efforts and future direction in both countries.
