The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan and the the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Singapore Signed a MOC for Green Shipping Corridor

On December 16, 2023, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan (MLIT) and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Singapore signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) for Green and Digital Shipping Corridor. The Port of Yokohama is one of the six Japanese port partners (Port of Yokohama, Port of Tokyo, Port of Kawasaki, Port of Nagoya, Port of Osaka, and Port of Kobe) to sign this MOC, and has confirmed that it will deepen cooperation with the Singapore port partners (PSA and Jurong Port).
On December 19, 2023, Mr. Teo, Director General of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) visited the Port and Harbor Bureau, City of Yokohama to exchange views on the promotion of port decarbonization.
